Maple Leafs Pull Goalie In Back-To-Back Games As Fans Boo
No Rangers game tonight, figured I'd watch the Toronto Maple Leafs against the Tampa Bay Lightning. It was an ugly first period for the Leafs.
Expecting a close, hard fought game has already started out into a laughter with a quick 4-1 lead for the Lightning. It's the second time this season Maple Leafs goaltender
Ilya Samsonov, has been pulled in the first period.
First time was also against the Lightning after he allowed three goals in 13 minutes in a game on Oct. 21.
Ilya Samsonov was not happy being pulled from the game again in the first period.
Even the fans had to voice their displeasure in that horrific performance.
As I have finished typing this, Toronto managed to make this into a game, scoring two goals to cut the deficit down to one. It's now 4-3 in the middle of the second.
