The New York Rangers have three players who got snubbed on the NHL's Best Players Ranking List. The Hockey News website went into detail on where each superstar landed on Sportsnet's top-50 list, and it's disappointing. Included were Igor Shesterkin and Artemi Panarin.

The New York Rangers have learned to rely upon three "X" factors in the lineup, with forward Artemi Panarin providing elite offense, and Adam Fox, a former Norris Trophy-winning defenseman.
Igor Shesterkin is the foundation from which everything that is the Rangers sprouts.
The three who were snubbed in the latter part of the list were Igor Shesterkin, Adam Fox, and Artemi Panarin.

Sportsnet Snubs Three of the New York Rangers' Best Players

Artemi Panarin

Artemi Panarin, who arguably had a down year last season, still produced an 89-point campaign (37-52) but was still only good enough on Sportsnet's list for #24. This seems odd, considering putting upwards of 80+ seems like an elite level of play, which not many players ever accomplish.
24 is an insult.

Adam Fox

Norris Trophy-winning defenseman Adam Fox was given spot #37. Fox played in a total of 74 games for the Rangers and scored 61 points (10-51). While he didn't have a season that would earn a Norris Trophy, he still produced well despite a 10+ point decline.

Igor Shesterkin

The 29-year-old goaltender, Igor Shesterkin, was ranked #27 on Sportsnet's "illustrious" list of the 50 best players in the league.
His 27-29-5 record didn't do him well in the eyes of pundits, while he still finished the year above .900 with a .905 save percentage. He could still bounce back this season and find the kind of play that won him a Vezina Trophy in the past.
The New York Rangers have three elite players here who were ultimately disrespected, and under Mike Sullivan, could prove everyone wrong again.
