Josh Deeds grew up wanting to be a writer, and as a hockey fan, he never imagined he'd get a chance to cover the topic now. His first game was in 1994, seeing the ECHL's Columbus Chill take on the Dayton Bombers.
Now, creating content and connecting with hockey fans through the written word is his goal. Josh strives to provide the best content, without a biased viewpoint, giving the fans the truth and a voice.
Originally, a student of Ohio State University, he has a background in Science, but is capable of conveying the passion of the NHL fanbase in every piece.
Josh began his career as a freelance writer for Overtime Heroics in 2021 and has been at it since. With New York Rangers Insider, Josh's focus is on multiple areas of the Rangers franchise, covering the prospect pipeline, the Hartford Wolfpack, and the main roster.
