During a exclusive interview New York Rangers fan favourite enforcer, Matt Rempe, reveals the changes he made this offseason to become a true power forward for the organization.

According to a recent report from Vince Z.Mercogliano of The Athletic's on Wednesday, Matt Rempe opened up on his new daily routine throughout the offseason. Along with that the 23-year old also revealed hisbigs plans for the upcoming season.
Just recently, Matt Rempe had revealed that he no longer wants to be known as just a enforcer, instead he's rather develop his game a transform into a young power forward and it appears that he is taking it seriously.
«I want to turn into not being known as an enforcer,» Rempe said, via Newsday's Colin Stephenson. «I want to be turned into, 'This guy's a really good young power forward who also can fight.'»

Matt Rempe Reveals New Daily Routine Ahead Of The 2025-26 Season

During the interview, Matt Rempe began to lay out his new routine that starts at 7 AM in White Plains, New York, every day before he reports to trainer Ben Prentiss facility in Stamford.
«Chef makes me five eggs with sourdough (bread) and yogurt,» Rempe said. «I gotta wake up (early) to get that down if I don't want to throw up during the workout.»

Following that Matt Rempe hits the gym for 9AM, where he joins his teammates Adam Fox and Johhny Brodzinski, along with other NHLers, including former Rangers star forward Chris Kreider. Mercogliano also stated that Rempe goes through conditioning sessions two to three times a week on stationary bikes linked to oxygen machines.
«It's hard moving a lot of weight, so a big thing for me was getting my lungs better,» Rempe said.

Once the week comes to an end, Matt Rempe reveals that Friday gets a bit intense as it's full sprint skates with weighted belts, along with what Rempe calls «meathead workouts," on Saturday.
«We'd just do arms,» Rempe said. «It was sweet. We'd just be ripping curls.»
Rempe also made clear in his conversation with Stephenson that he wants to distance himself from staged fights.
Rempe has made it very clear that he wants to move away from the "stage fighting" and develop into a real power forward, and honestly with his dedication and commitment he's nearly there.
