The New York Rangers organization has just confirmed some very troubling news regarding key forward who had left their latest game due to an injury.
Back on Thursday night, the Rangers faced off against the Buffalo Sabres and during about halfway through the game, veteran forward
Vincent Trocheck was forced to leave early after sustaining an injury.
UPDATE: Vincent Trocheck (upper body) will not return tonight.
Following the game head coach Mike Sullivan confirmed that Trocheck would in fact be day-to-day as he was being evaluated by the teams medical staff, and that an update would take some time.
Mike Sullivan didn't have any news on Vincent Trocheck after the game.
"No, he's being evaluated for an upper body injury right now,'' Sullivan said. "I don't have anything else.''
New York Rangers Confirm The Worst Regarding Vincent Trocheck
Now that it has been two days since Trocheck sustained an injury, the New York Rangers have provided a devastating update on the veteran forward.
Vincent Trocheck (upper body) will not play tonight and is considered week-to-week, per #NYR
Trocheck has been a key member of the organization ever since he joined the Rangers back in the 2022-23 season, as he carries himself as a true leader on and off the ice and has been known to be pretty effective while on the ice.
