While not an ideal situation, he will draw into the lineup tonight, due to center Vinnie Trocheck's status being week to week. He may have failed to impress Mike Sullivan in training camp, and he could change his mind tonight with a good game.

With center Vinnie Trocheck out of the lineup, Parssinen will have a chance to show the fans and the front office what they were wrong about by giving the 3C position to Noah Laba.

Last season, he played a total of 11 games with the Rangers and scored 5 points (2-3) as a Blueshirt.
Parssinen signed a new contract with the team during the postseason; now he'll have to prove he's worth it.
