The New York Rangers are set to face off against the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at 7:00PM, at PPG Paints Arena.
Earlier on Saturday morning it was confirmed that veteran forward Vincent Trocheck will be missing significant time after sustaining an upper-body injury during the Rangers game on Thursday night, resulting in the organization to make some changes to the lineup.
Vincent Trocheck (upper body) will not play tonight and is considered week-to-week, per #NYR
it was confirmed that Igor Shesterkin will in fact be the starting goaltender again as he was the first one off the ice during the Rangers morning practice.
The few noticeable changes to the Rangers lineup is that we see Mika Zibanejad move off the wing from Miller's line to take on the first-line center spot to fill in for Trocheck, along with that we now see Juuso Parssinen make his 2025-26 season debut to fill Zibanejad's spot on the wing.
Something Sullivan believes to be the best option to give the team some balance heading into tonights game.
