Some very worrisome news strikes the New York Rangers during Thursday nights game against the Buffalo Sabres as a key forward was forced to exit the game early.

According to reports, New York Rangers veteran forward Vincent Trocheck has been forced to exit to Thursday nights game early after sustaining a upper-body injury at some point in the second period.
Rangers insider Vince Z. Mercogliano, was the first to report that Trocheck was missing from the New York Rangers lineup at some point in the second period.
Not sure exactly what happened to him, but Vincent Trocheck isn't on the bench. #NYR
Unfortunately not long after, the Rangers took to social media to confirm the devastating news that Trocheck has sustained a upper-body injury and will be sidelined for the remainder of the game.
UPDATE: Vincent Trocheck (upper body) will not return tonight.
Certainly news fans never want to hear. As it appears that the Rangers can't stay away from the injuries, with superstar forward Artemi Panarin being sidelined throughout the entire preseason and then captain J.T. Miller sustaining a injury with just about a week before opening night and now this.
At this time the New York Rangers wont have any further updates until the game comes to an end.
Hopefully Trocheck is doing well and will return for the Rangers next game on Saturday October 11th, as they will be facing off against the Pittsburgh Penguins at 7:00PM for the second time already.
