The New York Rangers' own Kenny Alberta will be stepping away from MSG Networks this season. It was announced today on "X" that Albert will be joining NBC for coverage of the 2026 Olympics this winter.

While we won't be getting another Four Nations Face-Off anytime soon, we will have the Olympics here closer than we think.
It was announced today on "X" that New York Rangers broadcaster Kenny Albert will be joining NBC's 2026 Olympics Broadcast.
Kenny Albert will call all of Team USA's Men's and Women's games, along with the medal rounds. It's Albert's 7th time on PxP for hockey at Olympics, a new record previously held by Mike Emrick (6).

The Star-Studded Cast Kenny Albert will be joining for the 2026 Olympics

He'll call hockey games for NBC, for his 7th winter games, and will be joining a star-studded cast.
Albert will be joining Eddie Olczyk, AJ MIezcko, Brian Boucher, Jen Botterill, and Kathryn Tappen for the Olympics this season. Chris Vosters and Brendan Burke will handle the play-by-play calling for the Men's and Women's tournaments in 2026.
While Anson Carter, TJ Oshie, and Angela Ruggiero will serve as analysts.

The NFL and Olympics Duties of Kenny Albert

Kenny Albert will be joining Dave Maloney on MSG Network this season, as he is excited to follow in the footsteps of Sam Rosen and Jim Micheletti.
«It's such an honor, because the Rangers basically have only had two play-by-play announcers [on TV] for the past 50 years, in Jim Gordon and Sam Rosen,» Albert told The Post from Las Vegas, where he was slated to call Wednesday' game between the Golden Knights and the Kings for TNT. «To have Dave with me only makes it more special.»

The 57-year-old Kenny Albert thought he would be joining Joe Micheletti in the booth this season until his retirement occurred unexpectedly.
Now, in addition to handling his NFL duties, where he recently called the Vikings-Browns game in London, he'll be calling Olympic hockey this year.
Onwards, and upwards.
