Captain J.T. Miller speaks out on the New York Rangers losing veteran forward long-term due to an upper-body injury.

Earlier on Saturday morning, the New York Rangers organization confirmed some very devastating news regarding veteran forward Vincent Trocheck, as they stated he will be considered week-to-week with an upper-body injury.
Vincent Trocheck (upper body) will not play tonight and is considered week-to-week, per #NYR
An injury he sustained during the Rangers second game of the season against the Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night, as he was forced to exit the game early during the second period.
Not sure exactly what happened to him, but Vincent Trocheck isn't on the bench. #NYR

J.T. Miller Opens Up On Losing Vincent Trocheck Long-Term

Following the devastating news captain J.T. Miller spoke out on losing Trocheck from the Rangers lineup, and it's safe to say he has some strong feelings. Here's what he had to say:
#NYR captain J.T. Miller on the loss of Vincent Trocheck:

"It sucks. He's such a big part of the team, leader for the team. Plays in all situations. But just his presence being around -- it's been a short time, it's only been half a day, and it's already a crappy feeling. I know what he means to this group and especially not just his play, but his presence in the room. It's a good time to lean on other people and the rest of the guys to pick up some slack here. We're going to need guys to pull a little more tonight and for whatever happens in the future, but he's definitely going to be missed."
Hopefully this won't impact the New York Rangers too much as they look to secure a victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins after losing 4-0 during their season opener.
