The New York Rangers have opened up the season with the first goal coming from former No. 1 Pick, winger, Alexis Lafrenière.

Artemi Panarin follows his own rebound and dishes out to Alexis Lafrenière, who was able to finish with only 3:47 played in the first period.
This is a great start for the second line, with Filip Chytil and Artemi Panarin getting the assists.
The Rangers' currently lead the Buffalo Sabres 1-0.
