Ex-Rangers Longest-Tenured Player Making Chris Drury Regret His Decision After Unreal Star With The Ducks

Throughout the offseason the Rangers made the ultimate decision to trade forward Chris Kreider to the Anaheim Ducks, marking the end of his historic 13-year stint with the Rangers.

However, In just three games with the Anaheim Ducks, Kreider has recorded four goals, one assist, and four hits. The former Ranger also scored two of his goals, including the game-winner, in the Ducks' most recent game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Oct. 14.

Certainly appears that Kreider has made a breakthrough after many believed he would've slowed down in production this season after facing several injuries in the 2024-25 season.

Normally it takes time for a player to adjust after joining a new organization, especially whenever they have played 13-seasons with the same team that drafted them. However, Kreider is already making a lasting impression on the Ducks organization early in the 2025-26 season.

If the 34-year old veteran forrward continues to keep playing like this throughout the season, he will very well become a key part of the Ducks success, along with earning a key spot in their ongoing rebuild.

It will certainly be interesting to see how Chris Kreider will continue to preform with the Ducks this season, if he can manage to stay healthy. With that being said i believe GM Chris Drury is already regretting his decision to trade him this offseason.
