New York Rangers captain J.T. Miller addresses the media after the New York Rangers create NHL history for being the first team to be shutout in each of their first three home games to begin a new season.

The Rangers have once again been shutout on home ice at Madison Square Garden, making it the third time since opening-night, as they took a 3-0 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Oct 7th, then another 1-0 loss to the Washington Capitals on Oct 12th, and now again losing 2-0 to the Edmonton Oilers on Oct 14th.
Resulting in the Rangers organization to become the first ever team in the National Hockey League to be shutout in their first three home games to begin a season.

J.T. Miller Want's Fans To Not "Blow This Out Of Proportion"

When asked about the historically bad run, Miller decided to take his frustrations out on the media.
Following the game on Tuesday night, Miller addressed the media and issued a stern message to everyone, as he called it a unique situation and reminded everyone it is still early in the season.
Message from JT Miller:

"It's a unique situation, but let's not blow this out of proportion. There's a lot of good. We're getting a lot of chances. This is a unique start to the season in the sense of, there have been games where we feel like we've really thrown a lot at the other team and we're not getting rewarded. So I think it's on us to make sure that the mindset stays the same in here, and we don't go off the grid to find something. We need to stay the course. Over time, the results will come."
Certainly the type of response you would expect from Miller, especially considering the fact that the New York Rangers have preformed very well during their last few games. However, with that being said the Rangers next opportunity to get their first goal and hopefully win on home ice the season will be on Monday against the Minnesota Wild.
