Major Development: Mike Sullivan Confirms Vincent Trocheck Will Be Travelling With The New York Rangers

The New York Rangers and head coach Mike Sullivan have just confirmed some massive news regarding veteran forward, as he nears a return to the lineup at some point this month.
Trocheck suffered the injury during the Rangers' Oct. 9 game against the Buffalo Sabres and did not return. In 7:48 of ice time, he recorded one shot and one assist on an Alexis Lafreniere goal. New York won 4-0.
However, following the Rangers practice on Thursday Nov 6th, Mike Sullivan confirmed some major news on Trocheck's return to the lineup.
Mike Sullivan confirms Vincent Trocheck Will Travel With The New York Rangers
Following the New York Rangers practice on Thursday morning, head coach Mike Sullivan confirmed that veteran forward Vincent Trocheck will travel with the team for their game against the Detroit Red Wings on Friday night.
Sullivan said that both Trocheck and Vaakanainen will make the trip to Detroit, but he said Trocheck definitely won't play. #NYR
As noted by Vince Z. Mercogliano, Trocheck will not be playing on Friday, but this certainly a major development in his return to the Rangers lineup. With that being said it's very possible that we see Trocheck return for the Rangers game at Madison Square Garden on Saturday against the New York Islanders.
Mike Sullivan Makes Drastic Changes To The New York Rangers Lineups
Along with all this we see Mike Sullivan make a few drastic changes to the Rangers lineup for Friday nights game, which could be a move to see where Trocheck will fit once he does return.
First look at #NYR lines indicates that Adam Edström may be a scratch in Detroit:
