On Thursday morning the Rangers hit the ice for their practice, which is when a few rink side reporters notice that Mike Sullivan has decided to make some unexpected changes to the Rangers lineup.
First look at #NYR lines indicates that Adam Edström may be a scratch in Detroit:
Panarin - Zibanejad - Raddysh
Cuylle - Miller - Lafrenière
Sheary - Laba - Brodzinski
Pärssinen - Carrick - Chmelař
Something that has sparked major controversy among fans as Adam Edstrom has been an absolute beast on the fourth line throughout the Rangers last 14 games this season, and has even tallied two assists.
Certainly a very questionable move by Mike Sullivan. However, there just might be reasoning behind this that is yet to known, so make sure to stay tuned as updates are sure to follow from the Rangers practice.
Jaroslav Chmelar NHL Debut With The New York Rangers Incoming?
The 22-year-old is listed at 6'5, 220 and has shown good two-way ability in the AHL this season, so we could very well see the youngster make his NHL debut on Friday night against the Red Wings.
