NHL Insider Vince Mercogliano has confirmed a transaction for the New York Rangers ahead of the game tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Due to a healthy scratch, the Rangers are bringing Juuso Parssinen into the lineup.

The New York Rangers face off against the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight in Scotiabank Arena.
The team has made a transaction ahead of the game against their Atlantic Division foes, the Maple Leafs. The team has healthy-scratched forward Jonny Brodzinski, who has served on the third line.
In 2 games with the Rangers this season, he's been held scoreless, and Mike Sullivan is taking another route.
Finnish forward Juuso Parssinen will be drawn into the lineup tonight.

The New York Rangers Take Another Route

On the third line, the New York Rangers will bring in forward Juuso Parssinen into the lineup. For Parssinen, this will be another opportunity to grab hold of a spot in the lineup and never let go.
In 1 game this season, he's scored 1 point (1A), and will be centered by Noah Laba, with Taylor Raddysh on the wing.
Parssin has played a total of 138 games in the NHL, split between the Colorado Avalanche, Nashville Predators, and New York Rangers.
He's scored 54 points (20-34), with a -11 in his career.
The Rangers signed him to a two-year contract this offseason.
Tonight will be another night to prove to Mike Sullivan that he is the right player for the job on the third line.
