Another Player Heads To Locker Room For Rangers As Hurricanes Dirty Play Continues
Center, Filip Chytil, is another unfortunate victim of the injury bug that is infecting the Rangers during their matchup against the Carolina Hurricanes, as he has headed to the locker room, and hasn't returned back.
Unfortunately there is no explanation as to why he left the game as of right now.
This comes not long after
Adam Fox was ruled out for the rest of the game from a dirty collision with
Sebastian Aho, who was sticking his leg out to collide with Fox.
Here was the collision that took Fox out of the game.
With Chytil out, Trocheck moves to the second line as his time on ice will increase substantially. The Rangers are now down to 11 players.
Despite several missed calls on the referees side in terms of high sticks that has hit several Rangers players in the face, the game is tied, 1-1 as we enter the third period.
We will update as more information becomes available.
Update: Filip Chytil will not return for the remainder of the game due to an upper body injury.
