The New York Rangers are serious about improving their prospects next season, as they hunt for a top-six winger.

The Metropolitan Division is full of competitive teams and the New York Rangers were 1st in the division, and President Trophy winners.

#UtahHC isn't actively shopping Keller, but they are receiving quite a bit of interest from competitive teams in the east. #NYR most notably mentioned as usual, along with #Isles and #Devils. #Sabres were talking with Utah at the draft but not sure if it was Keller related. #NHL

In order to make it past the 3rd round plateau, the team needs the best talent they can sign, which could end up being forward like Clayton Keller.

He has drawn interest from GM Chris Drury and who could blame him? He's one of Utah HC's best forwards.

As the last seasons in Arizona, Keller put up 30+ goals in 2022 and 2023, and hasn't put up less than 20 since the pandemic-shortened season in 2020-2021.

His last season totals were 76 Points(33 G, 43 A) in 78 games, just below a point-per-game for Keller.

Keller could slot in the left in the top-six and be game changer in the Rangers lineup.

While there's been no update after this, multiple teams including the Rangers, Devils, Sabres, and Islanders call in on Keller's availability as Utah's shift gears.
