Former Stanley Cup Champion & Original-Six Goaltender Announces His Retirement After 14-Seasons
According to several reports, former Stanley Cup Champion goaltender, Anton Khudobin has officially announced his retirement from the game of professional hockey at the age of 39-years old.
Anton Khudobin was originally drafted 206th overall by the Minnesota Wild in the 2004 NHL entry draft, and quickly proved to be an absolute steal of a pick. Khudobin
played 260 NHL games with several organizations, including the Chicago Blackhawks, Boston Bruins, Anaheim Ducks, Carolina Hurricanes, Minnesota Wild, and the Dallas Stars.
However, Khudobin has now retired and revealed that he now plans to take his hockey talents to a management role moving forward.

The Former Original-Six Goaltender Had Quite The Career In The National Hockey League
Anton Khudobin has filled his dreams when he was able to lift the Stanley Cup back in 2011 with the Boston Bruins, despite only playing in one game throughout that entire season.
The longtime goaltender tallied up 114 wins, a save percentage of .916%, and 11 shutouts in 260 NHL games, throughout his 14-season which spent across several organizations, such as the Minnesota Wild, Boston Bruins, Carolina Hurricanes, Anaheim Ducks, Dallas Stars, and the Chicago Blackhawks, from 2009 to 2023.
Along with this, the Russian born goaltender, represented several teams around his hometown whenever he had the chance to, ncluding the Metallurg Magnitogorsk (RSL), Atlant Mytishchi (KHL), Sokol Krasnoyarsk (VHL) and Sibir Novosibirsk (KHL). Khudobin won a Russian title with Metallurg in the 2007 season.
