It was just confirmed to the media that New York Rangers forward, Jonny Brodzinski, and his family have announced life-changing news, and it's exciting.
Just moments ago the New York Rangers recalled two players from the Hartford Wolf Pack, as it was confirmed that 33-year old, Jonny Brodzinski and his wife Lauren will stepping away from the team on Saturday as she is in labour.
The New York Rangers forward took to social media on May 3rd and confirmed that he and his wife Lauren will be welcoming their third child, another baby girl.

Jonny Brodzinski has spent the last five seasons of his NHL career playing for the New York Rangers, as he joined the organization as a free agent in October of 2020. Since then the 32-year old forward has managed to play in a total of 152 games with the Rangers, along with tallying 21 goals, 22 assists, for a total of 43 points.

New York Rangers Recall Two Players From The Hartford Wolf Pack
Earlier on Saturday morning, ahead of the New York Rangers final preseason game against the Boston Bruins. They recalled young offensive prospect Carey Terrance and goaltender Callum Tung.
UPDATE: Carey Terrance and Callum Tung have been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Not long after the announcement, it was confirmed that Brodzinski was stepping away due to his wife being in labour. Resulting a Terrance being his replacement and Tung to serve as an EBUG.
