This year's edition of the Winnipeg Jets has had a remarkable turn around compared to last season especially in the second half.

The team has looked strong, confident, and playing well over long stretches backed by the goaltending of Connor Hellebuyck.

This has led former Rangers goaltender and now TSN analyst Marty Biron to make some bold statements regarding the team along with their fate with the central division and the Stanley Cup final.

At the moment, the central division is in a three-way tie between The Jets, Avalanche and the Dallas Stars All with 91 points.

With the games getting tighter and the margins of error shrinking there will be some separation between these three in the very near future.

Marty Biron feels that The Jets will prevail with this division which would bode well for their Stanley Cup hopes as they would avoid playing the other two teams in the first round.

As far as I'm concerned, The Jets hold the trump card which is Hellebucyk who is by far the best goaltender in the Western Conference if not in the entire NHL.
