Peter Laviolette Provides Promising Injury Updates On Key Players
Head coach Peter Laviolette said that Jacob Trouba has started skating on his own, but there is no firm timetable of his return yet.
The team has performed very well in his absence, going 5-1-0 during the stretch of games he has missed.
That is largely due to the play of Zac Jones, who's playing the best hockey we've seen from him.
Peter Laviolette credits Jones for his game as of late:
As for Ryan Lindgren, Laviolette addresses his status:
"When you watch somebody leave the ice like that, then you come back and they tell you it might be 2 or 3 weeks, that's some good news. He's such a great player for us, so it's tough. But we'll make sure he's healthy. We won't rush him back."
Chad Ruhwedel is set to debut for the Rangers tonight, and will skate alongside Jones.
