Former New York Rangers draft pick finally makes his NHL starter debut 11-years after being drafted

Halverson only played one game in NHL in his professional career
Prior to his draft by the Rangers, he had played for the Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League. He made his NHL debut in 2018 when he stopped five shots and only allowed one goal through a six to three loss against the Ottawa Senators.
Last two seasons showed strong numbers for Halverson
In his last two years with the Orlando Solar Bears of the East Coast Hockey League and then playing for the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League showed strong numbers including a save percentage identical of .913 at last years goals against was 2.18.
Unfortunately, his debut with the Lightning was disastrous as he had lost the game where he allowed five goals and had a goals against a 5.18 and a save percentage
of .792. As the lightning had lost 6-4 against the Utah Hockey Club.
Meanwhile, the New York Rangers had won their game against the Vancouver Canucks by a score of 5-3 and now the Rangers will head on the road for a western road swing against the Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks and the San Jose Sharks.
The next game will be against the kings on Tuesday March 25th and game time will be 10:30 PM eastern.
