As Team Canada and Slovakia faced off in the IIHG World Championship Quarterfinals today, Connor Bedard was demoted from his position.

Connor Bedard known for being one of the best hockey players just at 18-years old as he showcased his talents with the Chicago Blackhawks this season. However, during this years IIHF World Championship Bedard has been struggling, which lead to him be demoted to the teams 13th forward.
Connor Bedard is listed as Canada's 13th forward for today's QF vs Slovakia. He played 8:08 in Canada's last Preliminary Round game vs Czechia.
