Massive Fight Breaks Out After Dangerous Hit Towards The Boards
Last night, Anaheim Ducks winger Frank Vatrano checked Arizona Coyotes defenseman Sean Durzi from behind, which sent Durzi crashing into the back boards.
Livid, Durzi gets up and holds Vatrano by the neck.
Check out the encounter here:
Referees intervened to break the fight and both players skated off to the penalty box, still chirping at each other.
Both players received five-minute penalties for fighting and Durzi received a 10-minute misconduct penalty for not having his jersey properly tied down.
The Ducks won 4-3 in overtime to extend their win streak to five games.
