The Rangers Need To Improve On This Aspect Defensively
The Rangers currently rank 27th, out of 32 teams on odd-man rushes against per game, allowed 4.52.
It's interesting that three of the best teams in the league by points, are ranked near the bottom, being the Boston Bruins, Vegas Golden Knights, and the Rangers.
This is the area the Rangers need to improve.
Getting healthy helps. Likely still an adjustment to Peter Laviolette, so hopefully as the sustained offensive zone time/chances improve, rush chances against also improve.
They have plenty of time to correct this prior to the playoffs, and it hasn't yet kept the Rangers from winning.
But it will need to be an area that needs to be addressed sooner than later.
