New York Rangers top prospect has just been announced as the winner of the Lars-Erik Sjoberg Award following an outstanding performance during training camp.

The Lars-Erik Sjoberg award is awarded to the top prospect who stands out the most during the New York Rangers training camp, and by no surprise offensive prospect Noah Laba was awarded the winner.
The annual award is given to the top rookie that has shown great promise and it is selected by the media. It's named after Lars-Erik Sjoberg who was a member of the Rangers organization and their main scout in Europe for eight years who died at a young age of 43 after contracting cancer in October of 1987.
Congratulations to Noah Laba on winning the Lars-Erik Sjoberg Award, given annually to the top #NYR rookie in training camp as selected by the media. 👏
Noah Laba was certainly the prospect who stood out to many during the Rangers training camp and preseason, as the 22-year old tallied six points throughout six preseason games.
Noah Laba's points this pre-season:

3v3: 1G
4v5: 1A
5v5: 3A
5v4: 1G

2G, 4A in total.

Points in 5 of his 6 appearances in the post-season.

Adam Edstrom Named As The Lars-Erik Sjoberg Winner Last Season

Just last season New York Rangers 6-foot-7 forward Adam Edstrom was named the winner of the Lars-Erik Sjoberg Award:
Congratulations to Adam Edstrom on winning the Lars-Erik Sjoberg Award, given annually to the top #NYR rookie in training camp as selected by the media.
However, with that being said Noah Laba is the well deserved winner of the Lars-Erik Sjoberg Award, and hopefully this helps his case to making the Rangers opening-night roster.
