The New York Rangers have just completed a two players transaction following a tough preseason loss to the Boston Bruins on Saturday evening.

Earlier on Saturday morning the New York Rangers recalled two players from the Wolf Pack, ahead of their final preseason game on Saturday against the Boston Bruins. One being young offensive prospect Carey Terrance and goaltender Callum Tung.
UPDATE: Carey Terrance and Callum Tung have been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Not long after the announcement was made, several insiders confirmed the reasoning behind why the two youngsters were recalled to the New York Rangers. Terrance was recalled to serve as an extra as Jonny Brodzinski's wife is in labor, and Callum Tung will reportedly serve as de facto EBUG.
Word is Jonny Brodzinski's wife is in labor, so Terrance will be an extra for #NYR today in Boston.

Tung will serve as de facto EBUG.

New York Rangers Complete Another Two Player Transaction

However, following the New York Rangers embarrassing preseason finale against the Bruins, as they took a 4-1 loss, the organization has re-assigned the following two players back to the Hartford Wolf Pack.
UPDATE: Carey Terrance and Callum Tung have been assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack.

As stated before, both players were just called up as backups and neither one of them dressed for the game.
With that being said, maybe the New York Rangers and General Manager Chris Drury should re-consider his opening-night roster as it seems like they had better luck.
