According to reports from NHL Insider Pierre LeBrun, former Rangers forward Jack Roslovic could find a new home soon. The depth forward has been linked to the Stanley Cup-winning Florida Panthers.

Jack Roslovic rejected an offer from the Stanley Cup-contending Edmonton Oilers. The move gave us pause, as it could've been his big shot at a cup run in the NHL compared to his stints with New York and Carolina.
The former Rangers forward's moves have been puzzling lately, after firing his agent and rejecting Edmonton. But the forward has been busy, hunting for a new deal, and TSN's Pierre LeBrun thinks he could be a great option for the Panthers.

Jack Roslovic to the Florida Panthers?

With the Panthers' superstar, Aleksandr Barkov, out of the lineup for the season, they'll have to grab talent where they can.
Roslovic's availability and goal-scoring skills could come into focus for General Manager Bill Zito, who could exploit the connection between the Columbus-born forward and his former coach, Paul Maurice.
The idea does sound wrong at first, considering that Roslovic's style doesn't match the Panthers' play. He doesn't play the kind of punishing hockey that they do.
Though he would have to have chemistry with both Aleksandr Barkov and Matthew Tkachuk to make it work.
In 2024-25, Roslovic had a career year with the Carolina Hurricanes, scoring 39 points (22-17), and at only at 27-years-old, we're still wondering how he's managed to remain unsigned so long.
Originally a 1st-round pick in 2015, Roslovic has suited up for the Winnipeg Jets, Columbus Blue Jackets, New York Rangers, and Carolina Hurricanes.
