15 Players Placed On Waivers Including Several First-Round Picks That Could Intrigue The New York Rangers
As the 2025 NHL season starts in just three days, leaving many teams to finalize their rosters. Which has left several intriguing players to hit waivers including some former first-round picks.
With that being said the New York Rangers pretty much already have their opening-night roster set. However, following a few rough preseason games, maybe Chris Drury should reconsider his plan.

Among the 15 players we see two further former first-round picks on the list, potentially some players the New York Rangers should consider.
The two first-round picks placed on waivers are Tobias Bjornfot of the Florida Panthers and Colin White of the San Jose Sharks, both players could certainly provide the Rangers with solid depth.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem likely that President and General Manager of the New York Rangers, Chris Drury, will be to eager to make any changes to the teams roster before opening-night.
