Rangers Head Coach Addresses Media And Kakko Injury After Loss
It wasn't a fun night for us Rangers fans, with us enduring a 5-1 loss to the Buffalo Sabres.
To add salt to the wound is also the injury of
Kaapo Kakko in the middle of the game, which looked serious. It was a leg injury and he never returned to the game.
Head coach Peter Laviolette briefly informs us it's a lower-body injury and the team is currently evaluating Kaapo Kakko. Watch here.
He also elaborated on the fact there are no weak teams in the league.
"There's no such thing as a weaker team. That's on us tonight. We didn't play the way that we needed to play in order to be successful"
Peter Laviolette is right, there are no weaker teams in the league. The moment you think that, you'll let games slip.
The Rangers should always bring their best game regardless of who is in front of them.
The Rangers will get back on the ice Wednesday, against the Detroit Red Wings, at Madison Square Garden.
