The New York Rangers are off to a great start to the season.

Winners of three straight games, all on the road, and leaders of the Metropolitan Division, it seems like everything has been going great for them.
Except maybe a bit of bad luck has been running over this team like an army of black cats.
The Rangers have had four overturned goals against them in the first seven games of the season.
Now three of them were for offsides, and all three were legitimate overturned calls. However, I call bogus on the overturned goal on Will Cuylle in last night's game against the Edmonton Oilers.
The goal in question, came from a shot redirected from Cuylle's foot, into the net.
The question was if it was a kicked goal? The refs initially ruled it a good goal, and to me, as well as many others, it did too.
However, they checked with the folks in Toronto and after a few minutes, overturned the goal, concluding that Cuylle did kick the puck into the net.
You be the judge of it.
It would have been the second goal of the season for the rookie had it counted. Let's not split hairs, it wouldn't have changed the result of the game.
The Rangers were leading 3-0 by that point and the game was well out of reach.
But it would have been nice to have had one of these calls go our direction, especially for the young man. Let's hope their luck improves the rest of the season!
