Rangers Alexis Lafrenière continues breakout season into the playoffs
The Rangers organization had high hopes that this season's breakout year for Rangers forward Alexis LaFreniere would continue into the playoffs. It has, and Lafrenière has been fantastic. He has been a solid contributor on Artemi Panarin's line it has dominated only five on five goals.
Several players and including head coach Peter Laviolette took to the podium after the game three win and explained how well Lafreniere has played and where he stands on the team.
"I can't speak to the past, I can only speak to the last six months or whatever it might be. He's been pretty much set in stone with a couple of players and that line has been extremely productive for us. He's a big part of that."
It's clear with the coaching change of Laviolette have made an impact on how Lafreniere has played and how he was able to elevate his game especially putting him on the line with Panarin who had a great season to himself.
