Peter Laviolette takes issue on the frustration and displeasure surrounding the New York Rangers

Calvin de Haan's frustrations about the New York Rangers are making waves in the media, and today, Peter Laviolette addressed the statement head-on.
New York Rangers defenseman Calvin de Haan is the latest New York Ranger to voice his frustration with the team after being a healthy scratch for 18 games.
De Haan would torch his newest team in the media, letting the New York Post's Mollie Walker know he felt mistreated. He'd eventually walk it back, but he's not been the only defenseman in New York who's been frustrated.
Zac Jones voiced similar concerns:
«It (expletive) sucks, it (expletive) sucks,» Jones told Larry Brooks of the New York Post. «It's frustrating when you think you're doing some things well, and it's just, you just keep getting taken out, taken out, taken out. I just feel like I'm rotting away a little bit.»
Peter Laviolette would step in front of the mic in order to get his side of the story heard. While he expressed no concerns after the fact.
His statement was more cut and dry, and felt that the points he did get across were prior to each player going off the guardrails.
So Laviolette "understands" his players. That's helpful, but how does it make sense when you take a player out of the lineup whose scored 1 point in 3 three-games? Is it a matter of trust?
Did he kick your dog? The matter may be behind closed doors, but de Haan is a veteran and could provide some meaningful depth on the bottom-pair while Schneider remains out.
Instead, you've just made your veterans feel useless, and if I were de Haan, i'd find a new home in July, as Colorado and New York don't seem to be it.
