Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette spoke to the media after his team won game 3 and it was clear that the Rangers learned how the Panthers can be offensively as they scored two quick goals from Aleksander Barkov and Gustav Forsling in the third period.

It seemed that the Rangers had the game in hand as they were up 4-2 heading into the third. But it was clear that the Panthers were not going away and they managed to score quickly to tie the game up 4-4. It wasn't till 5:35 in overtime that Rangers forward Alex Wennberg managed to score his first goal as a Ranger after breaking a 30 plus game goal drought.

The Panthers tilted the ice towards their favor as they put up 13-4 shots in the third for a total of 37 dash 23 for the entire game. The Panthers also dominated on the power play as they went two for six where the Rangers were shut out 0/2.

The Rangers are finding a way to win whether it's through their depth, and getting it done in overtime as this is the second game in a row that this series has gone to an extra frame.

Game four will be held on May 28th and puck drop will happen at 8:00 PM eastern where the Rangers will look to take a 3-1 lead in the series heading back to New York.
