The New York Rangers may have to come to terms with the fact that there will be multiple bidders for forward Will Cuylle. Thanks to GM Doug Armstrong, he has empowered the NHL to send more offer sheets, and one of them could be on the way from Boston.

The Boston Bruins, like their original six cousins, the New York Rangers, are going through a retool. GM Don Sweeney will need to scour the league for bargain talent at a cost.
One of those ways of acquiring talent is through offer sheets, which we saw last season when the St. Louis Blues acquired Dylan Holloway and Philip Broberg through an offer sheet.
GM Don Sweeney could end up forcing the Rangers' hand if GM Chris Drury doesn't lock down Cuylle before free agency begins in July.
The Rangers have multiple free agents to take care of with limited cap space to do it with. At the moment, there's only $9.7 million available, and K'Andre Miller and Will Cuylle are just two free agents he'll have to consider.
An offer sheet from the Bruins could surprise the league, and also remove a future star from the team's lineup, should Cuylle accept the deal.
Cuylle would bring something the Bruins lack at the moment, ferocity on the ice, with a goal-scoring touch. This year he scored 45 points (20 goals, 25 assists).
He'd be a massive loss for the Rangers as he's been promoted from the 3rd-line up to the 2nd and found himself as a trustworthy forward for Peter Laviolette and the team.
Cuylle offers flexibility and can play with highly-skilled players and gritty players. He began the season on the same line as Kaapo Kakko and Filip Chytil. But ended the year on the same line as Mika Zibanejad and JT Miller.
We imagine Don Sweeney won't be getting out of this deal without spending more cash than he expected.
The Bruins could send him an offer sheet of $6 million, and in order for the Rangers to retain his rights, they'd have to match it.
Cuylle's cost might be a tad expensive as a result, but the long-term prospects are exciting.
