New York Rangers Director Of Player Development Reveals The Team's True Thoughts On Brennan Othmann
New York Rangers Director of Player Development, Jed Ortmeyer, has revealed the organization has a ton of excitement for one of their top prospects, Brennen Othmann, as this year is expected to be very crucial.
Last season, Othmann failed to make the New York Rangers' opening-night roster out of training camp. However, he did get his chance to prove himself at the NHL level late during the 2024-25 season.
Brennen Othmann To Make The New York Rangers Opening-Night Roster?
Despite not putting up many points last season, Othmann did show signs of improvement over the 22-games and carried a sense of confidence while playing at the highest level of professional hockey.
The 22-year old forward emerged as an impactful two-way forward who used his size to his advantage. Resulting the Rangers organization to look at last season as learning lesson.
However, just like everyone else, Othmann will compete at training camp for an opening-night roster spot with the Rangers, and he has a legitimate chance at making the team.
