NHL Insider has just publicly leaked the New York Rangers newest center ice logo for the organization Centennial Season, and it looks incredible.
The New York Rangers upcoming season will be a pretty significant one, as not only will they be heading into the 2025-26 season with high expectations, they will be also be entering their Centennial season.
Unfortunately, the New York Rangers haven't given fans much of an idea on how they will be celebrating their Centennial season, beside recently releasing what their Centennial logo will look like.
The #NYR have unveiled their centennial logo to celebrate the team's 100th year during the 2025-26 season
However, we now have an official look of their centennial logo on ice, thanks to Jonny Lazarus, as he just shared what the Rangers center ice will look like during the 2025-26 season.
All we need now is to see what the New York Rangers new centennial jerseys will look like!
The History Behind The New York Rangers Centennial Logo
"The New York Rangers crest has remained largely unchanged since its inception in 1926 - «New York» across the top complements «Rangers» stretching diagonally from top left to bottom right in classic blue, red and white - reflecting both the tradition and nostalgia of a time-honored Original Six club. Blue has always been at the forefront of the Rangers' identity - the team has worn a blue uniform in every year of its existence, and the franchise has been nicknamed the "Blueshirts" from nearly its inception. The shade of blue that was incorporated into the Rangers' crest and uniform in 1926 was much lighter than what it has become over the course of 100 years. The New York Rangers season will begin on October 7th, at the worlds most famous arena, Madison Square Garden, against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
