New York Rangers senior advisor Ryane Clowe receives major promotion
Former New York Rangers forward and former senior advisor as made a huge career announcement.
According to Frank Seravalli of the Daily Faceoff, former New York Rangers senior advisor, Ryane Clowe has been hired by the San Jose Sharks as an assistant general manager.
Clowe joined the New York Rangers during the 2012-13 lockout season, but didn't stick around long after joining the New Jersey Devils for his final two years of his career, before announcing his retirement in the 2014-15 season.
Along with that the 41-year old spent the last three seasons with the New York Rangers after being hired for 2021-22 season, working under GM Chris Drury as a senior advisor and hockey operations advisor.
However, Ryan's Clowe will now work under general manager Mike Grier, joining the current assistant GMs Tom Holy and Joe Will in helping the team's hockey operations department.
