New York Rangers National Television Schedule Officially Revealed: Winter Classic & Changes Confirmed

The New York Rangers fans will be fortunate this season, as they will see their team featured on 16 national broadcasts in 2025-26. One of those will be the NHL 2026 Winter Classic in Sunrise, FLA, against the Florida Panthers. The full list of broadcasts is below.
The New York Rangers will be featured in 16 national broadcasts this season. Of those, the most iconic will, of course, be the 2026 Winter Classic, against their rivals, the Florida Panthers, who have knocked them out of the ECF twice.
They will look to improve this season, after a dismal 5th place finish in the Metropolitan Division, and a failed attempt to win a Wild card spot in the playoffs.
The Rangers will play the Florida Panthers in the 2026 Winter Classic on January 2nd, 2026, in LoanDepot Park in Miami.
The team came out on top in their recent Stadium Series game at Met Life Stadium against the New York Islanders 6-5, in OT in 2024.
The game will be on TNT and will air at 8 P.M. when the Rangers take on the reigning Stanley Cup Champions (2X).
It will be a difficult bout for the Rangers, who are 5-0-0 in their Winter Classic record against all opponents, including the Philadelphia Flyers and Buffalo Sabres.
The Rangers will open up the season on October 7th on ESPN against their Metropolitan Division rivals, the Pittsburgh Penguins, at 8 P.M. in Madison Square Garden.
