New York Rangers issue heartfelt statement following the devastating passing of Anne Burrell

The New York Rangers sent a heartfelt message to the family and fans of celebrity chef Anne Burrell. Burrell was a fixture in the stands of Madison Square Garden, and as you can see, she wore the Blueshirt with fervor.
The New York Rangers lost a huge fan today, as Chef Anne Burrell passed away at the age of 55, the Food Network reported.
Burrell was a celebrity chef who was a frequent guest on the Food Network, starring alongside her friends and a community of chefs, which the channel has made into cultural icons.
Burrell had her own show on the Food Network called "The Worst Cooks in America." None of the Rangers were stars were one of them, but we're sure Matt Rempe could've been a guest at least once if the show was still around.
Burrell hosted several shows on Food Network, including Worst Cooks in America and Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, and also competed on Iron Chef America, Next Iron Chef, and Chopped All-Stars Tournament.
There was no confirmation in regards to the cause of death for Burrell, but the New York Office of the Medical Examiner the procedure would take place on Wednesday (today).
Friend and Chef Rachel Ray would issue a heartbreaking statement with the loss of her dear friend Burrell, who was a fixture on her show in the 2010s.
«She became so much more than a colleague,» Ray wrote in a post on Instagram, adding that she was «honored» when Burrell asked her to be a bridesmaid, «something I'd only done once before for my sister.»
«I'll miss her friendship deeply. Everyone whose life she touched will miss her,» Ray wrote. «We've lost someone truly special.»
