It's been several days since Chris Kreider was traded to the Anaheim Ducks as the New York Rangers continue to remodel and change their lineup for next season.

It was revealed in an interview that several former New York Rangers are playing with the ducks which includes former captain Jacob Trouba, Ryan Strome and Frank Vatrano.

Many familiar faces will greet Kreider in Anaheim

Once Kreider settles in Anaheim, he will have familiar faces that will help him integrate into the new team as the ducks are looking to leapfrog back to a playoff contender as ducks general manager Pat Verbeek continues to bring in stars.
Kreider spoke about his friend and teammate Jacob Trouba and how he was one of the best players he's had a chance to play with and gets to do it again on the West Coast, basically calling Chris Drury out for moving such great players.
«Jacob's [got to be] one of the best teammates I've ever played with,» Kreider said. «Everything that he brings, you know, as a player and as a leader that's a guy that you want on your team, that's a guy that you want to play with.»

«He's a terrific friend, too. Super easy guy to talk to,» Kreider added. «He's been such a good friend, such a good teammate to me for such a long time. So being able to play with him again - it's amazing.» - Chris Krieder

Kreider also spoke highly of Ryan Strome as he had fond memories being his teammate and will enjoy his company as the ducks attempt to leapfrog out of the basement of the standings.
«Stromer was terrific,» Kreider said. «We had some really good times, driving in and out to practice, talking hockey, talking about life, talking music giving Fil Chytil a hard time. Those are great memories. And hopefully, maybe we can revisit that and keep it going.» - Chris Krieder

Kreider gets to do it all over in a new city after 13 years with the Rangers

Kreider had spent 13 years with the Rangers and was ready for a change of scenery where now he can play in a completely different market and feel less pressure as the ducks continue to rebuild and move forward.
It will be a chance to do it over again and it remains to be seen on how much more the ducks will be able to bring in as many feel the team will be working hard to sign Toronto Maple Leafs Mitch Marner which will augment the team even further bringing them out of the doldrums of the NHL standings.
