New York Rangers reporter Jonny Lazarus spoke with NHL insider Frank Seravalli who predicted with almost certainty that Ranger's defenseman K'Andre Miller will be traded this summer.

Several names were brought to his attention during the interview and Seravalli felt the likelihood of Millers trade is a foregone conclusion in the coming weeks.

Seravalli hints to Mike Sullivan being instrumental in this deal

Several points were brought to light when it comes to Miller's game which Seravalli pointed out that Mike Sullivan was not too particular about Millers gain which could help cement this trade moving forward.
Seravalli Also explained that the Rangers will need to face the reality that they need to pay him a contract that will see a substantial raise.
General manager Chris Drury has made it clear that the team will not look the same going forward into next season and that the defensive part of the Rangers will need to be reshaped and redone which likely means Miller will be on his way to another organization.
The 25-year-old defender was drafted by the Rangers in 2018, first round 22nd overall. Standing at 6 foot 5 and 210 lbs he will fetch interest amongst many NHL organizations despite some of his defensive shortcomings.
Much like the Rangers season, Miller had a disappointing year where he had played 74 games, scoring seven goals with 20 assists for 27 points.

Seravalli pointed out other Rangers players who may be on the move

Seravalli Revealed 2 other names during the interview where he explained that their names have not been heard through the channels that he works with.
Rangers star Mika Zibanejad has been rumored to be on his way out of the Rangers organization as the team would like to move off his contract.
But according to his wife, it seems that Zibanejad will be with the Rangers, and it was reported that Mike Sullivan travelled to Sweden to speak to him.
Alexis Lafrenière was another name that was also on the potential trading block but with his new deal about to kick in and many years still in his career.
Seravalli thinks that the Rangers may hold off a trade and allow Sullivan to work with Lafrenière to potentially restore his upside and become the player they hoped he would after his breakout season 2 years ago.
It will be a fascinating offseason for the Rangers as many expect the team will be revamped and new blood will be brought in to help restore their playoff hopes.
