New York Rangers Fans Flame Captain J.T. Miller For His Post Game Comments After Another Shutout Loss At MSG

New York Rangers captain J.T. Miller has apparently upset several fans following his post game comments on Tuesday night after another frustrating shutout loss at MSG.
On Tuesday night, the New York Rangers recored their sixth consecutive loss at Madison Square Garden this season, as they took a brutal 3-0 shutout loss against the Carolina Hurricanes, bringing their record to 0-5-1 on home ice with four of those being a shutout loss.
However, despite the entire team feeling frustrated and upset, captain J.T. Miller meet with the media after the game and put the blame on himself as he feels like he hasn't done enough to help drag the Rangers out of their slump.

"It just starts with myself and the leadership group," captain J.T. Miller said. "This is where we need to dig deep and carry the load a little and raise our own expectations for ourself. Not just, 'We like what we're doing, and we're getting looks.' It's not really cute anymore, it's been 14 games. We're not executing by capitalizing on our chances. They're big moments of the game. We're not making teams cheat the game right now, especially at home. They have a lead all the time they're going to play the right way... It starts with me. I need to be better. I need to do something to help drag the team in for a couple extra percent here."

As expected many fans didn't quite agree with what Miller had to say, but more particularly with his comments on "It's not really cute anymore".
I mean it's hard no to agree with these fans, as it's honestly never been cute. However, there is still lots of games left in the 2025-26 season, so lets just hope they can figure this out sooner than later.
