"It Starts With Me": J.T Miller Takes Accountability Following Another Frustrating Shutout Loss At MSG

Captain J.T. Miller shockingly takes full accountability as the New York Rangers have taken another frustrated shutout loss at Madison Square Garden this season.
The New York Rangers have now lost all six of their appearances at Madison Square Garden this season, as they take a brutal 3-0 shutout loss against the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday night, bringing their record to 0-5-1 on home ice with four of those being a shutout loss.
Along with all this, throughout 14 periods at MSG, against teams that are not the San Jose Sharks the Rangers have one goal, which was during their game against the Minnesota Wild.
Just all around just a terrible night for the New York Rangers on Tuesday, as they went almost 22 minutes without recording a single shot on net, along with their power play now being 4-for-36 so far on the season.
However, despite the entire team feeling frustrated and upset, captain J.T. Miller put the blame on himself as he feels like he hasn't done enough to help drag the Rangers out of their slump.

Following the game Miller spoke with Mollie Walker of the New York Post and stated that it all starts with him, as he feel's like he hasn't done enough to help the team during these struggling moments.

"It just starts with myself and the leadership group," captain J.T. Miller said. "This is where we need to dig deep and carry the load a little and raise our own expectations for ourself. Not just, 'We like what we're doing, and we're getting looks.' It's not really cute anymore, it's been 14 games. We're not executing by capitalizing on our chances. They're big moments of the game. We're not making teams cheat the game right now, especially at home. They have a lead all the time they're going to play the right way... It starts with me. I need to be better. I need to do something to help drag the team in for a couple extra percent here."
