Some unsettling news surfaces from the New York Rangers practice on Monday morning as several reporters confirm veteran defenseman is sidelined with a lower-body injury.
Just moments ago several reports surfaced that have stated that New York Rangers veteran defenseman Urho Vaakanainen has been listed as day-to-day after sustaining a lower-body injury.

An Injury that he most likely sustained during the New York Rangers game against the Seattle Kraken on Saturday, where they took a 3-2 overtime victory.
Certainly an unfortunate blow for the New York Rangers as they are currently on a three-game winning streak. However, there is a bit of a silver lining as it appears rookie defenseman Matthew Robertson seems to be slotting in on the Rangers third defensive pair with Braden Schneider.

Just this season Urho Vaakanainen has played in 10 games for the Rangers and has managed to tally one assist. With that being said, the New York Rangers next game in tomorrow night when they face off against the Carolina Hurricanes, so there is a bit of time for Vaak's to be ready and slot back into the lineup.
