New York Rangers star defenseman addresses the teams struggling power play following another frustrated shutout loss at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night.

On Tuesday night the New York Rangers managed to take another devastating shutout loss at Madison Square Garden, as the Carolina Hurricanes won 3-0. Making this the Rangers sixth consecutive loss on home ice, with four of those being a shutout loss.
Unfortunately, a more concerning stat comes from the Rangers game on Tuesday, as the Rangers power play is now 4-for-36 this season, with their 11.1% conversion rate which now drops them to dead last (32nd) in the National Hockey league.
Something that has resulted star defenseman Adam Fox to sound off on the importance of a power-play and how it is effecting the Rangers season thus far.

Adam Fox Voices Off On The New York Rangers Power-Play Woes

Following the Rangers game on Tuesday night, Adam Fox voiced his honest opinion on the teams struggling power-play as he openly admitted that it has cost the Rangers a few games now.
Adam Fox: «Power plays are difference-makers. They get one, we don't. That's the difference right there, especially early in the game, when you can get the lead. That team gets a lead, they're hard to play against. But for us, I think even if you're not scoring, you want to get momentum. We've done that on a few power plays, but then similar to five-on-five, we get a little frustrated and we start doing things differently.»
«Special teams is a huge factor. Look at our history - we've won games with special teams. I think it's definitely cost us a few games this year.»

- Adam Fox
He's certainly not wrong, as the Rangers clearly need a change or something to help them start capitalizing on the power-play.
