New York Rangers defenseman has finally provided an update regarding his upper-body injury, something that he has been dealing with for awhile now.

Just earlier this month, the New York Rangers confirmed that defenseman Braden Schneider would miss the final two games of the season as he's been dealing with an upper-body injury for some time now.
Of course this news drops just a day after the New York Rangers were eliminated from the 2025 NHL playoff contention, by the Carolina Hurricanes on Saturday evening.
However, according to Rangers insider Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today, Schneider has been playing through this upper-body injury for some time now, but he also confirmed that there are no concerns about it lingering into next season.
Just landed in FLA but I'm told that this move is to allow Braden Schneider to sit the final two games. He's been playing through an upper-body injury and will now get a little extra time to heal. No concerns about it lingering into next season. #NYR
