Major Development regarding Rangers defenseman arbitration case
The New York Rangers and RFA Ryan Lindgren still haven't settled on a contract despite Lindgren filing for arbitration.
One of the names to recently drop from the list was Columbus Blue Jackets winger, Kirill Marchenko signed promptly.
However, the Rangers' "warrior" defenseman is still without a contract in the meantime.
Lindgren was a key player on the blueline for the Rangers playing 19 minutes a night, with a +22 ranking on ice.
His hearing will be on August 2nd if GM Chris Drury were to sign Lindgren before arbitration he has only a week to do so.
But there still remains no definite route or term for the defenseman, his last extension signed in 2021 and expired this season, was a $3M x 3-year deal, totaling $9 Million dollars.
In 76 games, Lindgren scored 17 points(3 G, 14 A) with 36 PIMs, and a +22.
