Patrick Kane has just signed a one-year deal to join the Detroit Red Wings.
Detroit was among the leading contenders to sign Patrick Kane all season.
The move also gives Kane a chance to reunite with one of his favorite linemates in Chicago, Alex DeBrincat.
There has been no specific money amount on the deal released yet.
I know there will be a small group in the Rangers community that were hoping for a reunion, but with the surgery he has and the potential risk, it wasn't worth it.
